Toowoomba Community Care provides consumer directed care packages in NDIS and Home Care Packages as well as our day centre, the community and in our clients homes. Established for over 30 years providing support to the Toowoomba community and a part of the SBcare Group.

About the role

This is a new position to support our business growth and diversification

We are looking for a person who can work in our passionate and professional team.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Looking to develop a career in community care as a support worker
  • Passionate about supporting our community
  • Have the ability to support clients in aged and or disability services
  • Can work in a supportive and understanding way
  • Able to perform a wide variety of client services
  • Available to work a variety of shift

This role is working with the clients and teams to implement supports that promote well-being and to meet client goals. The work can range from cleaning to personal care to social support to supported holidays and all services in between under Home Care Packages, NDIS and CHSP programs..

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a person who has;

  • Relevant skills and experience and who is genuine about what they do
  • Not essential but preferably hold a minimum Certificate III in Community Services/Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability or willingness to get this qualification or similar qualification or experience that may translate to this position
  • Have a current driver's license
  • Has or is prepared to obtain a first aid certificate/current CPR
  • Have a reliable car with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Able to qualify for a positive Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card
